The Quest and The Swords

In the Empire of Kienndon, a demon has gained control of the political power. In exchange for his greatest dreams, the emperor traded his soul. Fifteen years after the incident, the demon's control of the empire was revealed, and the king was dispatched quickly throwing the empire into despair. Afterwards, the empire fell to the wrath of corruption and greed, and from all over the empire, a message spread by an old wizard. "The demon of time will fall to the wrath of eight blades." There began the search for the eight elemental swords, or their wielders.

Notice: I will accept any new characters, we need more villains after all! You can have mages, guards, assassins, and the likes! Happy rping, but all eight sword finders have been claimed, but I see no shame in having normal characters, because they can be just as awesome! Feel free to chat or roleplay, your characters DON'T have to be minor characters even if they don't have the swords~

Also, for a limited time, we have the "guards" open, the elemental guards, each who has sworn their loyalty to the lord of the original element. There is about five of each element, though some we may meet who have small roles, and others' with larger roles. For more information regarding guards, look underneath all the swords.



Light
The sword spirit likes a high spirited fellow, brave and adventurous. True to their word and often, naive and very innocent. The rapier is a silver sword with a highly exquisite guard, that is tinted with a little bit of darker color at the intersecting parts. It is the heirloom of the rich and well eminent family, Montagu.
The light blade's owner strength is in their strong spirit, highly sociable personality, and skill. The weaknesses include their innocence, naivety, often followed by a lack of intelligence and a high amount of honesty. {Camille Montagu}

Earth
The blade of earth is a grand great sword. The sword spirit seeks for a calm and loveable person, one whom is understanding and easily patient. Rather often a gentle giant. The great sword is six feet in length overall, with a blade that appears to be made of copper and bronze, in rather delicate shades of brown. The handle is made of a bronze, wrapped in a thick flat leather with green gems on the guard. The blade of earth last place of residence is within the uncharted forests of Kienndon.
The earth blade's owner strength is in their strength, lovable personality, and knowledge of survival, but often lacks knowledge of politics. The weaknesses also include speed and a high amount of honesty. {Tori Imahara}

Lightning
The blade of lightning is a jian, carrying a brass colored hue on the blade, the guard is made of a gold mixture, and a brown-yellow, well polished, marble handle, and a bundle gold string tied onto the blade's handle. The sword's spirit is one that seeks a powerful, bold and explosive character. The blade's last place of residence is within the ruins of a forgotten city, of which everyone died of disease.
The lightning blade's owner strength lies in their combination of skill, wit, and bold, powerful nature. The weaknesses fall in with their horrible personality, that is not hard to socialize with, but rather, their high amount of arrogance. {Kitsune Torachi}

Water
The blade of water are a pair of hook swords, a beautiful metal of silver tinted by a blue metal color. The handles are wrapped in blue cloth. The sword spirit prefers a calm, and lovable fellow. One who often is peaceful, and dislikes battle. The last place of residence of the water blade was deep within a lake with the wind butterfly swords.
The water blade's owner is their combination of speed, accuracy, and great compromising abilities. The weaknesses include a lack of intent to kill, a lack of strength, and a soft heart, easy to convince in releasing an enemy. {Gin Shika}

Wind
The wind swords are a pair of butterfly swords, a pair of silver bladed swords with inner engravings in black of wind wisps. The blade has silver handles with white gems engraved within it. The sword spirit likes a carefree fellow with a sense of adventure, and a careless nature, often one who would not get himself killed quickly. One who is quick to run, rather than die.
The wind blade's owner has a strong combination of speed, lack of bravery, and intelligent attack patterns. They lack strength though, as well as a sense of shame. {Ryker}

Ice
The ice blade is a scimitar, a silver-white blade, with a black handle, rather a simple looking blade. The ice blade likes a reserved person with a high sense of honor, and dignity. The last location of the ice blade was in the midst of a mountain, the last owner fallen to a bear who died besides him.
The ice blade's owner strength lies in his forbearance, intellect, skill, and overall sense of balance, he fails due to the fact he is too reserved, has few allies, and often gains enemies. {Xiahou Bing}

Fire
The fire blade is a dao, a blade made of bronze, with a brown marble handle. The blade guard is made of red tinted metal. The fire blade likes an out-going person with an impulsive nature, and a high sense of honor and justice, as well a personality that holds no fear and a bold personality. The last location of the fire blade was at the foot of a volcano, buried by magma, waiting for an adventurer who will find it one day.
The fire blade's owner strength lies in their strength, skill, and bold nature, otherwise, a highly eminent person. But their weaknesses lie within their lack of speed, their lack of forbearance, and their impatience. {Kari Savage}

The Guard
The guards are a union of soldier tied forever to the elemental lord since birth, because they are descendants of the original guard. There are five guards under each element, and it is a validated code that a guard can not fall in love with anyone from a differing element. Their loyalty is bound to their lord, and they would not hesitate to die for their lord. A guard, can indeed fall in love with a differing element lord due to the fact it is the lord's bidding. They all wear armor, have a weaker version of the elemental lords' power and carries the symbol with pride. The symbols include -
Wolf of Ice, Phoniex of fire, Nightmare steed of darkness, Deer of light, Hawk of lightning, Cat of water, Rabbit of Wind, Bear of Earth

PLEASE NOTE; When the power of the blade is activated fully, it will be engulfed by the element and hold a trail of the element in it's slash. But, this is a form of the true power, in which only later on during the roleplay will they be able to do this, and following that, this ability saps from the user's life force, meaning they don't feel it's toll until it's too late. But if they stop it when it's getting very close to the end of their life, they have a high chance of being able to survive longer, if they continue using it, they will soon die where they have last stood. Guards are able to activate the true blade form as well on their normal weapons, but their true blade form is weaker as well as more straining, sapping more mana then the real elemental blade itself.



Our heroes have embarked to Waylard, a land of corruption and darkness and afterwards headed to Icchi. Soon later, the group left Icchi and is currently on the path that leads to a village in ruins.
